Privacy Policy
How Wende Wealth Management collects, uses and protects your personal information — in plain language.

In short: the only personal information we hold is what you choose to type into a form, and it is used solely to answer you and to arrange the coverage you ask for. Beyond a few cookies the site needs to work, cookies are used only with your consent — to remember your preferences and to gather aggregated usage statistics (Google Analytics).
Who we are
This website is operated by Wende Wealth Management Inc., 1350 Boulevard René-Lévesque Ouest, Suite 300, Montréal, QC H3G 1T4.

What we collect
We collect only what you type into one of our forms. There are no accounts to create, and we do not build a profile of you or follow you across other websites.
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the topic of your enquiry and your message.
- Travel insurance application: the plan type, your coverage dates, destination, coverage amount and deductible; for each traveller their first name, last name, date of birth, and whether they have any pre-existing medical conditions (with optional details); and your name, email, phone, preferred language, preferred contact method, WeChat ID (optional) and any notes.
A date of birth and any mention of a pre-existing medical condition are sensitive information. We ask for them only because insurers require them to price and issue travel coverage, and only for the travellers you are insuring.
Why we use it
Your information is used for these purposes only:
- To reply to your question or request.
- To compare plans and prepare a quote across insurance companies.
- To arrange and service the coverage you decide to buy.
We never sell your information, rent it, or use it for advertising.
Cookies and browser storage
On your first visit, a banner at the bottom of the page asks which cookies you allow. Nothing optional is set until you decide, and everything on the site works even if you decline.
- Strictly necessary (always active): a cookie named "wende-consent" records the cookie choices you make in the banner (kept for 6 months), and the language you pick is remembered for your current visit only.
- Preferences (only with your consent): a cookie named "wende-lang" remembers your chosen language for up to 6 months, so the site opens in it next time.
- Statistics (only with your consent): Google Analytics sets cookies (names beginning with "_ga") containing a random identifier, which Google uses to produce aggregated statistics for us about how the site is used — for example which pages are visited most. These statistics do not identify you by name, and we use them only to improve the site, never for advertising. See Google's privacy policy for details.
You can change your mind at any time: select "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to reopen the banner and update your choices. Withdrawing consent stops the cookies from being used and removes the ones we can remove; you can also clear them in your browser settings.
How your information reaches us, and who else sees it
When you submit a form, the information is delivered to Frank by email. It may pass through a form-delivery service, which processes it only to deliver your message to him.
If you choose to buy travel insurance online from TuGo or Allianz Global Assistance, you leave this website for the insurer's own secure site. Anything you enter there is governed by that insurer's privacy policy, not this one.
If you ask Frank to arrange coverage, he shares what you provided with the insurance companies needed to obtain a quote or issue your policy. He does not disclose it to anyone else except where the law requires it.
Payments
No payment is ever collected on this website, and we never ask for banking or credit card details by email. You pay the insurance company directly, on their own secure system.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed to answer you and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to licensed insurance and mutual fund representatives. After that it is destroyed.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent to being contacted. Write to frank.zhou@wendewealth.com and we will respond within the time limits set by law.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
How we protect it
This site is served only over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and the only third-party code it loads is Google Analytics — and then only after you allow statistics cookies. Please do not send highly sensitive documents — such as your social insurance number, banking details or medical records — through an ordinary email or web form.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date shown at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised.
