From engineering to financial advice
Frank's path began at Tsinghua University in Beijing, where he earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering. Engineering taught him to break complex systems into understandable parts, to question assumptions and to trust evidence over sales talk — habits he has never dropped.
An MBA and then the CFA charter carried that discipline into finance. Along the way, Frank saw how often families sign insurance and investment paperwork they were never really helped to understand — especially when it isn't written in their first language.
Today, with more than 20 years in the business, Frank is an independent advisor based in Montreal, working with families, newcomers and students across Canada in English and Chinese. Independent means he compares plans from all major Canadian insurers instead of promoting one company's catalogue. Plain language means you understand exactly what you are buying — before you buy it.
